1. Who we are

DeProject provides a cloud workspace for architecture, interior design, and construction project teams. For privacy-related questions, contact us at info@deproject.nl or via the contact form.

2. Data we collect

Depending on how you use DeProject, we may process:

  • Account data ÔÇö name, email address, organization, role, and authentication details.
  • Workspace data ÔÇö projects, documents, drawings, comments, approvals, messages, and other content you or your team upload or create in the platform.
  • Usage data ÔÇö log data, device/browser information, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Billing data ÔÇö subscription and invoicing information where applicable (processed in line with our payment providers).

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure the DeProject platform
  • Authenticate users and enforce role-based access within workspaces
  • Support customers, respond to inquiries, and send service-related notices
  • Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We process data on documented legal bases under the GDPR, including contract performance, legitimate interests in operating a secure B2B service, and legal compliance where required.

4. Where data is stored

DeProject is EU-hosted. Application and database infrastructure is configured for European regions. We aim to keep customer workspace data within the EU unless you explicitly configure integrations that transfer data elsewhere (for example, connecting an external calendar or email provider).

5. Sharing with others

We may share data only when necessary:

  • Within your workspace ÔÇö with team members, clients, vendors, and other users you invite, according to permissions you set.
  • Service providers ÔÇö trusted subprocessors that help us host, email, monitor, or support the platform, under appropriate data-processing terms.
  • Legal requirements ÔÇö when required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.

6. Retention

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your organization uses DeProject. After termination or deletion of a workspace, we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period unless a longer retention period is required by law or needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

7. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to a B2B SaaS platform, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and least-privilege administration. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please keep credentials confidential and assign appropriate roles to users.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar protections, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to data portability where applicable. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, contact info@deproject.nl. Workspace administrators can manage most team and client data directly inside DeProject.

9. Cookies

DeProject uses essential cookies and similar technologies required for authentication, security, and core functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the application.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as DeProject evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy where permitted by law.
